If I needed another reason not to watch next season of American Idol other than the fact that Simon will be absent, I have just been given that reason. They are hand picking the fucking winners. Come on! Did these people watch the final competition. Lee didn't even show up! WTF!
When he sang "Beautiful Day" I thought that he oughtta be arrested for murder... of an awesome song.... damn.
Are we really going to have to hear him do a version of that? man....
Bowersox is 10 times the singer that he is. And I'll give you that she seems a bit uncomfortable sans guitar but so the hell does he.
Anyway, this has been the worst year by far of Idol ranked by how much I agreed with the judges and how they just seemed to bask in Lee's rays from the beginning.
Oh well, can't say it wasn't unpredictable but, after last night's show I thought that Crystal had a pretty damned good chance. So much for what I think!
